I love meeting new people and discovering their individual stories - perhaps that is why editorial portrait photography, as used in newspapers and magazines to visually support a written story is one of my favourite commissions. Creating a great editorial portrait means getting to the essence of your sitter. In an often, very brief period of time, you must discover their story, develop a relationship of trust and capture a relevant portrait for the client.
